MICHAEL JOHN FROSETH
Hi, I'm Michael and I am a 28 year old designer, developer and online marketer now based out of the Dallas, Texas area. Some of you might know me as, StrictPixel.
Some of you are here strictly for business and so this page may not be of much help. I've created this page to provide some background as to who I am, where I came from and where I want to go. If you would like to just see my work, head over Here
Born in Burnsville, Minnesota and grew up in Cottage Grove, Minnesota I have always had a knack for the outdoors; rain, snow or sunshine I still love the outdoors. Being raised in Minnesota has also allowed me to grow into an avid, hyper and loyal Minnesota Vikings fan which you will come to know not long after we have had the pleasure to meet.
AN EARLY START
My mother purchased me a used computer when I was about 14 years old which still had a very old version of Microsoft Frontpage, which back then was the go-to web design tool. Being a curious kid, I opened the program, played around and designed my first website at about the age of 15 years old. Since then, I have not deviated from the web and have worked tirelessly to improve my skills in all areas relating to web design, development and marketing.
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.
My professional career began in 2009 when I accepted a Jr. Web Developer role at Holoweb in Apple Valley, Minnesota. This job allowed me to work in a professional environment and develop skills in a more hands on approach. After a year I moved on to work for Kemteck, Inc in downtown Minneapolis as a graphics designer.
THE ROAD TO TEXAS
In 2011 I was ready for a big change. Texas sized big. After submitting my applications to several companies in Texas I was offered an interview in Dallas, Texas for Premier Planning, LLC and drove all the way down to Texas for an in-person interview and was hired on the spot as the Creative Manager which I was responsible for a large part of the creative assets being created. Whether this be for the web, print and even some video.
As of 2015, I have become a full-time freelancer providing web design, development and marketing solutions to businesses across the country as well as working as a contractor for several local companies to the Dallas area. The web isn't going anywhere, and I don't plan to either. This is what we call a match, right?
A special thank you to my mother, Kristi, my grandmother, Cheryl, my grandfather, Dan and my uncle Shawn for supporting me throughout the years.
